Neat Tip if You Drop Something Down the Drain
I don't know how many times I've gotten stuff out of the drain "the hard way."  Either fishing with a piece of coat hanger (which is successful depending on your type of drain), or taking the whole thing apart (not fun if it is old, fragile or both).  This is one of those tips you wish you had known about before you took the sink apart or called the plumber!!  http://www.familyhack.com/2007/08/29/drain-tip

PC Film Series
The Park City Film Series presents The Class, a film which won the Palm d'Or, the highest prize at last year's Cannes Film Festival.  This is a film about a passionate French teacher who presides over a classroom of diverse young students.  It offers a lively, authentic classroom banter while its emotional undercurrents slowly come to a boil.  The film will be shown June 5-7 at the Jim Santy Auditorium at 7 pm Friday and Saturday, and 6 pm on Sunday:  http://www.parkcityfilmseries.com

Roller Derby Benefit
I don't think I've ever seen a roller derby (unless 'Xanadu' counts).  We want to tell you about this one because a) it's a roller derby and b) it benefits fur babies.  Wasatch Women's Roller Derby is proud to announce their first game in Park City, benefiting Friends of Animals on June 20th, 2009. Join them at Trailside Park on June 20 at 2 pm for hard hitting derby action to benefit a really great cause. The derby will be followed by a picnic in the park. Food, Drinks, Entertainment, Silent Auction and more outdoor fun!  $15 Donation suggested.

Sponsor Jane's List For A Day:  No one can pay to be featured in our daily lists--that's what advertising is for and we have a groovy place for ads at the top of all of our newsletters called our sponsor section.  Anyone wishing to promote their own business needs to sponsor one of our daily lists.  We really want to keep the legitimacy, integrity and fun of Jane's List intact, we'll never make a dime off your meal at a restaurant nor a penny from the sale of the latest toy we told you about.  We also want to keep Jane's List free for our subscribers--so we really appreciate our sponsors and want you too, as well!  If you are interested in becoming a daily sponsor, please send an email to leslie.bailey@earthlink.net ATTN:  Sponsorship.

Note Regarding Product Reviews

All of the products written about in Jane's List have been 'test-driven' by our editors, subscribers or friends and family who have NO affiliation with the product editorialized.  If you have a product/book/restaurant, etc you would like our editors to consider writing about, please let us know.  We are always happy to have you send us something for one of our reporters to 'field test' for review.  Please note:  Jane's List cannot guarantee despite product submission.

And, no, we would never sell our subscriber list to anyone--that would be lame.
