BPA Free Teethers
Need a BPA-free teether?  Vulli teethers are handmade in France with natural rubber. They have a super "squeak" and certainly entertain the littlest newborns (and even our 2 year old appreciates it)! The nub on the top is perfect for chewing.  We particularly love 'Sophie the Giraffe'--it is also the been a top seller in Europe since 1961!   Babinski's Good Things For Baby in Salt Lake City carries them but you can also purchase online:  http://www.kangarooboo.com/product/details/212-Vulli-Sophie-the-Giraffe

Doctor Referrals
Sometimes it is hard to find the right doctor, so I thought I would share a few of my absolute favorites with everyone:
Dentist
Dr. Kirkland Graham of Sugar House Dental Spa (801) 466-6645.  Check this out--services include, a coffee or tea drink of your choice, then relax in the Zen room massage chairs, paraffin wax treatment for your hands, hot/cold compress for your eyes, lavender oil on your temples to relax you, and a facial/neck massage at the end to finish off your experience.  Just tell them that Kristy Hoffman sent you.
Dermatologist
Dr. Leonard Swinyer/Laurie Ellis N.P. (801) 266-8841.  Dr. Swinyer is one of the top rated Dermatologists in SLC and can be very busy (think 3-6 month waiting list).  If this is too long of a wait, his Nurse Practitioner, Laurie Ellis is fabulous as well and you can usually get an appointment within a week of your call.  They do all medical dermatology but no cosmetic work unless it has to do with skin cancer.  Both Dr. Swinyer and Laurie Ellis are extremely nice and their office staff is, as well.
Certified Midwife
Tina Fought, Redstone Health Center, (435) 658-9200
I have used Tina as a Certified Midwife for 10 years and the birth of my daughter.  She not only takes care of gynecological needs and appointments, but is concerned and thoughtful of your overall health.  She is very thorough, but kind and caring as well.
