Today's Sponsor!
Park City Moms Group Park City Moms is a social group with members residing in and around Park City, Utah. Our purpose is to connect mothers and their families for fun activities and get-togethers. Being in our group is a great way to meet women with interests and challenges similar to your own.
Raising children can be stressful and exhausting. By joining together we can overcome the isolation and frustration that often accompanies parenthood. Developing a network of other mothers going through the same life experiences enables us to share our feelings and ideas in hope of gaining more confidence and a better understanding of our roles as mothers. Our club offers:
- Support and help for new moms
- Playgroups for Infants through Preschoolers
- Social Events for Parents
- Seasonal and Annual events
- Discounts at local businesses with member card
For information on membership, please go to our website: www.parkcitymoms.com

Thomas The Train Event Calling all Thomas the Train lovers! This is a family event (May 21-25) that includes a 25-minute ride in a full-sized Thomas the Tank Engine, story-telling, live music, building with Lego Duplo Bricks, an Imagination Station with Arts and Crafts and so much more! Tickets are required for the train ride, or just visiting the activities and are recommended to be purchased in advance due to the popularity of this event (we are not kidding--this really is a popular event as those of you know who've been to other Thomas events). M.O.M Club Movies I know your friends told you that you would never see another movie again once you had kids but Megaplex Cinemas is making it their mission to change that notion! Every Monday at 11 a.m. you and your tot can go to 2 locations in Salt Lake City (Megaplex 12 at The Gateway and Megaplex 17 at Jordan Commons) and bask in the cool, dark quiet of their theater. Well, not completely quiet: house lights dimmed, lower volume, changing tables and valet stroller parking. Nursing welcome. Moms only $5; age 5 and under free! Showtimes and movies vary, please call: (801) 325-7500 for Gateway · (801) 304-4636 · http://www.megaplextheatres.com/" \t "_blank" www.megaplextheatres.com

New BPA Free Baby Bottles We always love safe baby products but we REALLY love safe baby products that also look good. Due to recent concerns about the use of plastics in baby bottles, Lifefactory has created a 9 oz. glass baby bottle with a modern twist that is Bisphenol A, phthalate, PVC and polycarbonate-free! with a modern twist. The bottle is covered with a silicone sleeve, which helps to protect the bottle from breakage and makes it easier to hold on to. The sleeve is free of all plastics and is completely non-toxic. The silicone nipple is latex-free and non-toxic, while the plastic ring, plug and cap contain no polycarbonates and are food grade, FDA approved and recyclable. Available in an assortment of colorful silicone sleeves. They are almost cute enough to make you want to have another baby (almost): http://www.lifefactory.com/products/weegobottle.html
Classic Children's Book If someone you know is having a little girl (or a little girl who is having a birthday party), this is the perfect gift: A is for Annabelle by Tasha Tudor. I loved it as a little girl and so has every little girl I know--they will treasure it and read it to their kids one day. Can be purchased wherever books are sold.
Surface Medical Spa Seminar I attended one of their monthly information seminar last month and had a great time! You'll learn from their experts, ask questions and walk through the spa to meet their physicians and staff. Drinks and appetizers are provided and mommies are given a goody bag to take with them. You will also receive discounts on their products and services. Not to mention the free drawing for Botox--did I mention that? The one I attended was full and filled up very quickly. If you are interested in attending the one on May 28th, I suggest you call to reserve your place today: (435) 655-8900.
Gardening Tools At Target For $1 All moms love the dollar bins at Target. They are full of great, inexpensive ways to keep the little ones (and yourself) happy. On a recent trip to Target, I noticed that the dollar bins were full of children's gardening supplies: spade, rakes, buckets, cute watering cans, small gloves, pots, seeds, etc. All for $1! They also had the bigger version for adults. It is worth the drive down to stock up if you are planning on spending any time outside this summer in your yard--put those kids to work! Now, if only we had a Target up in Park City: www.target.com

Mother's Day Gifts From The Heart 1) Breakfast in bed - doesn't matter if this has been done a million times, it still pleases. 2) Make a video - ask each of her children what they love about her on DVD. 3) Frame a picture - choose a picture of you and her or better yet, of her grandchildren. 4) Memory jar - write a dozen of your favorite memories of your Mom on slips of paper. This works best if you can get siblings to contribute. 5) Help in the garden/around the house - do a few hours of work that she might not be able to do herself anymore, or just doesn't want to do! 6) Make her dinner - have fun with it by creating a special menu and table setting. 7) Talent show - if you have a big family that lives nearby, enlist their help to perform short skits for your Mom. The skits don't have to be about her or her life because the act of everyone working hard to entertain her will be a fabulous gift. 8) Personalized tote - purchase a blank tote and decorate it yourself (or have her grandchildren do the honors). Fill the tote with gifts. 9) A Small Indulgence - Erin at About.com's Frugal Living blog suggests finding "out what your Mom has been denying herself, and then buy it for her." Perhaps it is a particular beauty product, type of chocolate or magazine. 10) Print coupons - go online and sift through recent newspapers for coupons you know your Mom uses. 11) Picnic lunch - pack a lunch and take her on a hike, to the beach, or to a park. 12) Write a letter - tell your mom what you appreciate about her. Bonus points for special stationary or a hand-decorated envelope.
