The LFNC Office is moving its physical and mailing address.  But it's just going to be across the hall from our current headquarters.

Effective July 1, 2011, our new address is:

2635 N. First Street, Suite 211

San Jose, CA 95122

Please make a note of it.  All other contact information (phone, fax and email) will remain the same.  We apologize in advance for any delay in communicating with our office as we complete this transition.

LFNC executive director Rene Astudillo said that this move was approved by the board of directors and will save LFNC up to $30,000 a year in overhead expenses.  "While  the space is smaller, it would efficiently serve the needs of our small staff and core of volunteers," Astudillo said.

Special Note: The LFNC Office will be closed today, June 13, to allow our hard-working staff and volunteers some respite from the intense preparations leading up to the 5K Run and Walk. We will resume regular office hours tomorrow June 14.

We would like to thank all participants and donors for the success of our event last Sunday!  A record 45 teams and 726 runners and walkers came to West Valley College in Saratoga to show their support for greater lupus awareness and research, and to honor their family members, friends and others who have been diagnosed with this disease. We had 18.6% more participants this year compared to last year.

Preliminary reports indicate that we raised $69,564 in registration fees, donations, sponsorships, the Mascot contest and the 50/50 raffle.  This represents a 40% increase from last year's gross revenue.
