East Bay residents are fortunate to enjoy a large selection of our region's finest horse boarding options. The following equestrian facilities are located in the East Bay communities of Walnut Creek, Alamo, Briones, Martinez, Sunol, Pleasanton, and Castro Valley. Each is easy to access and close to residential and business hubs. Many have direct trail access to state parks. |

We have box stalls, double stalls with 200' long private paddocks, pastures with shelters, all-weather arena with lights, 80' round pen, tackroom with private lockers, foaling stalls with monitoring cameras and miles of trails. | LEAP OF FAITH FARMS - An incredible barn in the best East Bay location |

Come visit the East Bay's biggest and best, with three large arenas and direct trail access to Mt. Diablo State Park. More than a barn, Leap Of Faith is a great place for you and your horse. Casual or competitive, western or English, we provide a welcoming home for all. You don't need to be in training or use additional services to board here -- in fact, about 2/3 of our boarders are not in training with anyone. Amenities include: Hundreds of miles of direct trail access, 240'x80' indoor arena, 110' x 210' outdoor arena with Grand Prix footing, 110' x 220' covered arena, 2 covered and uncovered round pens, full short-side span of mirrors, over a dozen large turnouts. All stabling has deep bedding cleaned daily, deep automatic waterers, and premium feed. Daily care and attention paid to the footing in all arenas (best footing - whether for dressage, recreational riding, grand prix jumping, or western performance). |  | | Summit Ranch Equine Center is a full service horse boarding and training facility with direct private access to the trails of Mt Diablo State Park. We're conveniently located in Alamo, 25 miles East of San Francisco and a 10 minute drive east of Hwy 680. The 22.5 acre ranch lives on with new ownership and management team of Bob and Joan Marx. Summit Ranch has a long history in Alamo, opening in the 1970's as an Arabian breeding ranch and has evolved over the years into an all- breed, family friendly boarding ranch. Bordered by Mt. Diablo State Park to the north and east, you can ride through our private gate in four different directions and be exposed to some of the most beautiful scenery in the Bay Area. We can house 113 horses in four different barns: a Mare Hotel with covered paddocks, and three barns with a mix of box stalls and stalls with paddocks. We also has a 50 ft. covered round pen, 50 ft. uncovered round pen, and two turnout paddocks. Trailer storage is available. Horses are fed twice a day and stalls are cleaned daily. One indoor arena, open year round and ideal for riding during the cold winter months or on extremely hot summer days. The outdoor arena is available during dry weather. Arenas are groomed twice daily. We have a beautiful lounge area where you can view horses being worked in the indoor arena and enjoy monthly social barbecue parties. Lessons and training available. Shiloh West is a state-of-the-art equestrian training facility located on 105 scenic acres on the Castro Valley/San Ramon border with easy access off 580. Our facility offers miles of graded trails, 2 indoor and 3 outdoor arenas. Both indoor arenas are well lighted and have mirrors. All arenas have high quality footing and are groomed twice daily. We are a full care boarding facility with 12' x 12' box stalls and 12' x 12' box stalls with paddocks. Stalls are cleaned and bedded 7 days a week. Quality hay (alfalfa, oat or grass) or Elk Grove pellets fed 3 times a day. Amenities include 15 turnout paddocks, 6 wash racks, indoor bathroom facility with shower, easily accessible trailer parking. All weather riding, covered round pen, Eurosizer.
