Customer Quotes
"As a REALTOR, I have obviously advertised through various websites, and publications, which have recently been canceled. My success of attracting buyers is now solely through BAEN. I have had several showings, and just sold my largest horse property listing because the Buyer saw it on BAEN - Thank you again, and as long as I am selling real estate, I am sticking with you!"

Trainer Sued By Client When Trying to Collect Payment - Don't Let This Happen to You! By Elizabeth McMillan
Call it a coincidence, but I came across an article last week that so speaks to why we are hosting an Equine Law seminar for horse professionals TODAY at 5:00 pm that as much as I hate any negative press about the horse industry - I feel compelled to mention it. It appears a trainer is being sued by two of her clients. There were no written agreements in place, only an oral agreement that "the center would provide proper care for the horses in exchange for monthly payments". So, when the trainer attempted to hold the horses until the bills were paid - all hell broke loose! Click here to read the full article.

East Bay barn thefts are ongoing - be alert for suspicious cars/persons!
Suspects are going into unlocked vehicles and taking visible purses, wallets, and valuables. They have also entered through truck rear slide windows. So far the "hit time" seems to consistently be between 4:30 and 6:30 pm, although the suspect has been sighted as early as 2:30 pm. In the Briones/Martinez area Hossmoor has been hit twice, as well as Poplar Place, Leap of Faith Farms, and Bottomley Farms. There have been several sightings of 1-2 African American men driving a white Honda civic, older model, with hubcaps on the passenger side that are either non-existent or rusty. If you see a car or persons matching this description at your barn or park/open space, be sure to call the police immediately. Click here for more information.

Linda Allen's Benchmark Program
Linda Allen, famed course designer of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, the 1992 World Cup Final (Del Mar), Super Leagues in both Dublin and Rotterdam, three time Nations Cup rider, and judge for many National Medals, has brought numerous horses from "local" shows to International acclaim. The Benchmark Program, a concept developed by Linda Allen, is designed to address the lack of opportunity for appropriate and affordable mileage for young horses as well as for less experienced riders. Linda's plan is for one-day rallies that emphasize the development of a solid foundation, rather than on winning ribbons. Click here to read the full article.

Bay Area Canine Network - Hot Off The Press!
Bay Area Canine Network was opened to BAEN users in mid-October. Since then site traffic has grown 77% according to Google analytics, with BACN's classified ads leading the pack as the most-viewed pages. Feedback on the site has been consistently positive from both dog owners and business owners: "I've been doing dogs for 32 years and horses as a sideline for almost as long but dogs are where my bread and butter comes from. Thank You Thank You Thank You". Click here to read the full press release
