"Please put SOLD on my trailer ad. I
must admit - it went quickly. I posted on a Sunday night, got hits
Monday, the buyer viewed the trailer on Tuesday - and bought the
trailer on Wednesday. She was local - NO MONEY ORDERS.... All good. Thank you for being such a great site." Barbara Matalone

Horse Lovers' 2 Minute How To Video TM
How To
Remove A Loose Shoe
A
loose shoe can be dangerous. What do you do when your horse's shoe is loose, but
the farrier is hours or days away? Becky Cothran, owner of Bex HorseShoeing,
demonstrates how to remove a horse shoe quickly and safely using just a claw
hammer and a rasp.
Becky is the owner of Bex HorseShoeing. She is a graduate of Pacific Coast
Horseshoeing School, located in Plymouth, Ca. After attending school she
apprenticed under Patrick O'Hara. Keeping her clients' horses balanced, sound,
and safe is her top priority. Visit Becky at

STOLEN!
Once stolen, horses and tack can be difficult to relocate and in some cases are
never found.
The chances for recovery are a lot better if you can PROVE that
a particular saddle or horse belongs to you. For example, did you know the police recommend you put
your driver's license or social security number on tack? You can even take a saddle or tack item completely apart
and engrave or burn the numbers into a hard-to-see spot. Learn more ways to protect your property in this article by Bonnie Davis from BAEN's Horse Talk Archives.

Ladies, do you suffer from
O.C.E.A.N. Syndrome?
The afflicted individual: 1. Can smell moldy hay at ten paces, but can't tell whether milk has gone bad
until it turns chunky. 2. Finds the occasional "Buck and Toot" session hugely entertaining, but
severely chastises her husband for similar antics. 3. Will spend hours cleaning and conditioning her tack, but wants to eat on
paper plates so there are no dishes.

Selling Tip for Classified Ads
This tip came to us from Lisa of California Horse Supply in Santa Rosa. "Your ads have really helped us get customers connected with us! Thank you for having a great site! I just wanted to let you know a selling tip that has really helped my business. Whenever I place an ad anywhere I always say 'let us know you found us here and receive...a free T-shirt, discount..etc.' This helps me identify which adds are getting people in our tack shop. It really helps me focus in on our best avenues of advertising. We have had a lot of customers say that they found us on Bayequest!"
