Horse Lovers' 2 Minute How To Video TM
How
to Recognize & Prevent Colic
In
this two-part video, Emily Haggett, D.V.M., tells you how to
identify early symptoms of Colic as well as explains common causes. In part two,
Dr. Haggett gives advice on taking steps to ensure you won't have to go
through the frightening and expensive experience of a horse in full blown Colic.
Remember, Colic is an emergency - always call a Veterinarian if you suspect your
horse may be experiencing Colic! Dr. Haggett is completing a residency in large
animal internal medicine at UC Davis. Check out the informative
UC Davis Center for
Equine Health Web site

triple the cost of damages, plus the cost of the suit, reasonable litigation
fees, and attorney fees. The first hearing date was 5/12/09. If this bill

Happy Sez: IT'S FIRE SEASON! Do
you know how to
evacuate safely? As a result of the
lightning fires in Tehama County last June, volunteers at the Tehama Glenn Range
Unit of Cal Fire have put together a
Self Evacuation Manual
and Form Kit for horse owners and are making it available through BAEN free of charge.
While contact numbers etc. are specific to Tehama County,
this kit
is a must-have for ALL horses owners regardless of
location, fire, earthquake, or flood risk. Read it,
print it, use it! The kit is in pdf format and can also be downloaded from BAEN's
Emergency Evacuation
Resources. Who is
