A recent survey from the ManpowerGroup found that 52% of US employers today are having difficulty filling jobs. Her care the top 3 ways to access highly qualified talent to fill your hard-to-fill positions.
  1. Post open positions on niche job boards like SCANPO that cater specifically to the qualified talent you need. Congratulations to those of you that are already doing just that!
  2. Search for qualified talent in the resume database of niche job boards.
  3. Take advantage of upgrades that make your job stand out on the job board or that you added exposure off the job board like making it a "featured job" on other web pages.

Actively managing your career is takes work. Here are 5 tips from SCANPO to make it easier:
  1. Update your resume regularly on our Job Center. If it has been longer than a year, it's been too long.
  2. Start a "Win List" and record all of your professional "win" in one area so you can refer back to them easily.
  3. Visit SCANPO regularly to understand the employment marketplace and what positions are in demand.
  4. Set a goal to become an expert in a new skill and map out how you will achieve that goal.
  5. Take time to honor your accomplishments.
