Bing.com Names the D&SNGRR One of the Top Thrilling Train Trips Around the World!
Bing.com recently wrote an article that listed 21 of the most thrilling train trips around the world.  Our very own Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad made the list!  In the story, bing.com tells us the railroad now primarily serves tourists and tells about the proud history of the train.

If you have never taken a ride on the D&SNGRR, you should definitely plan to go on your next trip to Durango! One of the D&SNGRR's big events is coming up in August, Railfest, an annual event that celebrates everything that goes by rail.  Check it out, and come celebrate with us!

Animas River Days Festival in Durango, CO
The Animas River Days Festival is a weekend full of fun to celebrate Durango's river, the Animas!  Join us June 10 - 13 for all sorts of river fun!  Throughout the weekend there will be river races, rodeos and even a costumed parade.  And we can't forget the fly fishing, where there will be a casting demonstration and competition.  There will also be plenty of dry land activities where you can enjoy art shows, the Animas River Clean up & BBQ, the Benefit Party Night at SKA Brewing, lots of fun contests and there will even be kid's activities for the little ones!

Feel free to email us any of your fun stories from your vacation in Durango. Send us photos, memories, travel tips, anything that you would like to tell us about your experience. Thanks for all the feedback. We love to hear from you!
