IV Nutrient Therapy & Cancer
|
 |
IV nutrient therapy is the process of giving vital nutrients to the
body via the bloodstream by accessing the vein with a small needle. IV nutrient therapy is a way of getting vitamins, amino acids, minerals
and other nutrients into the bloodstream quickly. Because the digestive system is bypassed, the nutrients are carried through the blood to where you need them the most. IV therapy is vital for treating patients with digestive conditions, malabsorptions syndromes, along with elderly who have difficulty digesting and absorbing nutrients. Other conditions effectively treated with IV nutrition therapy include chronic lyme disease, parkinson's, fibromyalgia, depression, migraines, asthma, hypertension, cancer, and many more. The benefits of IV therapy are rapid and effective. (Learn more about IV Nutrition)IV Vitamin C along with Vitamin K3 can be an important adjunctive
therapy in treating cancer. Numerous studies have shown that Vitamin C
at very high doses intravenously act as a chemotherapeutic agent
specific to cancer cells. This means cancer cells are target and normal healthy cells are protected. Conventional
chemotherapy along with IV Vitamin C therapy increases survival rate of
cancer patients and is significantly more effective in reducing tumor
size than chemotherapy on its own. ( Visit our online library for a complete list of research papers on effects of Vitamin C IV on cancer). When Vitamin K3 is added, the chemotherapeutic effects of Vitamin C are accentuated.

Greetings!
Welcome
to Holistique E-News.
As you may already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Holistique Medical Center is on a mission: to inform and educate every male and female about the importance of breast health and prevention. Did you know that breast cancer is the #2 cause of death in women? But did you also know that breast cancer and death from it are preventable? Early detection is the key to reducing death rates from breast cancer and Holistique Medical Center has the key to early detection and prevention: Breast Thermography. Breast Thermography is safe, sensitive, 90% accurate, and painless. Females (19 years old or older) are advised to have regular thermography screening to detect abnormalities which may lead to breast cancer later. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Holistique Medical Center is offering Breast Thermography at a reduced fee of $197 (normally $260) for the month of October. Knowledge
leads to empowerment; empowerment to transformation, and transformation to
optimal wellness.
Wishing
you optimal success on your road to health and healing,
Dr. Nooshin K. DarvishPS Please accept our sincere apologies if you are getting this e-mail for the second time. A typo in the subject line is corrected.

Breast Cancer Prevention
Nearly
all research point to simple life style changes that can easily prevent
breast cancer. Although these steps do not provide a gaurantee that you
won't develop cancer, they will reduce however the risk of developing
the disease by 40%!
1) Consume organic fruits and vegetables 2) Eat only wild fish and grass fed meat 3) Reduce or eliminate alcohol 4) Maintain a healthy weight 5) Increase anti-oxidant intake such as CoQ10 6) Increase physical activity and exercise 7) limit the amount of fat (especially saturated and hydrogenated) in your diet 8) Minimize flaxseed oil and processed soy products such as tofu and soymilk 9) Remove dental amalgams 10) Avoid synthetic hormone therapy 11) Minimize use of birth control pills 12) Continually work through your anger, grief, and guilt. Suppression is not the answer, releasing is.

Early Detection
The next best thing to prevention is early detection. Early detection saves lives.
Here are a few suggestions:
1)
Do regular monthly self exams and get to know your body. If you have
fibrocystic breast tissue, draw a picture of the lumpy areas and check
them once a month around the same time in your cycle
2) Do regular screening, Breast thermography and mammography.
3)
Know your risk group, and act accordingly. For example, racial and
ethnic background is a factor in assessing risk; African
American women have a lower rate and Jewish women have a higher rate of
breast cancer.
4) If you have a family history of breast cancer,
start regular breast thermography screening at age 19 every 2 years
until age 30. From age 30, yearly thermography is recommended for all
females with or without risk factors.

Get to the Root!
And if you have already been diagnosed with breast cancer, been treated conventionally with chemotherapy, surgery and radiation, here is what you need to do to prevent it from coming back.
Conventional therapies remove the mass but they don't treat the underlying process that initially caused the cancer. This is where you need to do the work even after your oncologist has dismissed you as cancer-free. There are a few questions to answer and to work through:
1) Are your hormones in balance? Get them checked. 2) Are you iodine deficient? Iodine deficiency leads to thyroid and other hormone imbalances. 3) How are your thyroid and adrenal glands functioning? 4) Are you dealing with any hidden chronic infections such as yeast, parasites, or bacteria? 5) Are you holding on to estrogen in your breast tissue or are you able to detoxify it properly? 6) Are there any mineral deficiencies such as zinc and selenium deficiencies? 7) Do you have metal toxicity? 8) How is your diet? 9) Are you overweight? 10) Are you getting enough anti-oxidants? 11) And most importantly, are you suppressing emotions that you are not aware of?
These are often difficult question to answer, but we are here to help you through the process systematically. Once you work through all the above questions one step at a time, not only have you significantly reduced your risk for re-occurrence, but often times, you have attained optimal wellness and health.

So What is Breast Thermography?
Th ermography is an imaging system of the temperature patterns and
gradients used for the analysis and identification of underlying
process within the body leading to cancer, pain, inflammation, and
hormonal or metabolic condition. Thermography uses a highly sensitive
infrared camera to image minute temperature changes occurring in the
tiny capillaries of the body. Thermography is well researched and was
approved by the FDA for use as a supportive breast cancer screening
tool in 1982.
Thermography or Mammography? Both
Studies have shown Thermography to be 90% accurate in detecting thermal
signs that may indicate the presence of breast cancer. The 10% of
breast tumors that are missed on Thermography are more commonly the
less aggressive and slow growing tumors. Mammography misses 20% of
breast tumors and up to 40%, especially in females under the age of 50,
i.e. those with more aggressive tumors.
Thermography does not replace mammography but is used in addition to increase the sensitivity of breast cancer screening.
Where as mammography, ultrasound, CT scans and MRI's are used to
identify tumors AFTER the tumor has been formed, Thermography has the
ability to identify the first thermal and chemical changes that may
lead to tumor formation PRIOR to the existence of a tumor.
What do images look like?
A series of breasts images from different angles are taken and
evaluated. The heat patterns in each image are studies and a report is
written by the thermologist. You can view examples of thermal images with explanations (pdf) for breast thermograms.
