Congratulations to Latino Leadership Class IV!  They have successfully completed the Latino Leadership Development Program.  The year-long program is dedicated to enhancing the leadership and management skills of Latino/a leaders in order to position them to continue their advancement in their employment.  While also promoting community leadership through volunteerism on public boards and commissions.  We will also be pleased to announce incoming Latino Leadership Class V to the program.
 
 Join is for a night of networking as well as celebration for our Latino Leadership participants at the Latino Leadership Reception

Jeff Cogen, Multnomah County Chair
Jeff Cogen will address members of the Hispanic Chamber at the Membership Luncheon on October 26, 2010. 
 
Jeff was first elected to the Multnomah County Commission in November 2006 for a four-year term. In 2010 he won election to a four-year term as County Chair.

Since his election Jeff has led several successful initiatives including opening a new library in North Portland's Kenton neighborhood, reforming the Business Income Tax, growing fresh food for the Oregon Food Bank on surplus county land and supporting services for returning veterans.

Jeff has also brought solar energy installations to two Multnomah County building rooftops, saving tax payer dollars and reducing greenhouse emissions.
