In most of our struggles we do not recognize that its the Lord. The experiences that we are in are opportunities for personal growth and development. An Unstable Economy, Part 1

 We are living in a time of judgment, unveiling, revealing and reckoning. The Lord seems to be turning over the tables of the money changers as a crazed, greed filled world economy is teetering on the brink of total collapse. Note that I said the "World" economy is on the brink, not God's economy. If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, and you've received His salvation (saved, healed, delivered and set free, body, soul and spirit, nothing missing, nothing lacking, made complete and whole in every area), then you are a son or daughter of a different kingdom, one that cannot be shaken by world shake downs, and one that will remain forever, even if other kingdoms teeter, shake, fall or disappear. You have exclusive rights to God's miraculous economy. This is great news for you and I.
(Heb 12:28 - 29 NIV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."
The Lord is unraveling and revealing the illicit and greed filled designs of old Adam - the old nature of man who lives apart from God's design and plan. We're just now beginning to see the unveilings of $50 Billion Madeoff fraud with more of these unveilings to come. We're seeing the direct failure of past administrations who said "Everyone deserves a home, whether they can pay for it or not, and whether they will work or not". We're seeing the unveiling of corruption that comes when governments and banks play with paper money and create "supposed" wealth from thin air using their unrestrained printing press to create dollars out of nothing.
Most of the wealth that we're seeing disappear during this correctional season is really just hot air. It's not really and honestly true wealth. Since it was created from thin air, then to thin air it returns. For instance, the reason a home in Malibu might be worth $1 Million dollars is because there was enough free paper money and a bank that was willing to loan however much was needed to secure the home of our dreams. That $500,000 home was bought for $600,000. Then someone else wanted it and was willing to pay high retail at $700,000, and on and on until this home ballooned to a whopping retail, paper price of $1 Million. When would the prices drop? Just as soon as the last fool at the top couldn't find another fool to sell to, and the banks decided that they wouldn't loan that much money on a hyper inflated home. Is it any wonder that you can pick up a $1 Million home in California, Las Vegas, Phoenix or Florida for for $500,000? The bubble has burst and we're now finding out the TRUE VALUE of homes in these areas of the U.S. God is demanding a true value , true weights and measures and truth to be re-inserted into the financial system of America and the world. He loves this country and He's cleaning house. This is a great thing that's happening, and it's a true reckoning and accounting audit of the world's messed up financials. Why is he doing this? He wants His people to be free from entanglement and free from the tyranny of greedy, (old man adamic natured) banking, credit card companies and businesses who thrive like predators on God's people, rather than serving them in a true business humility. He's exposing greed and arrogance in high places for your sake. Praise God!
(Prov 11:1 NIV) The LORD abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight.
How does a Christian survive and thrive during the times where God is dealing with this rampant Pharaoh spirit of the day?
(Psa 1:1 - 5 NIV) Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
We must not listen to worldly counsel, stand in their shoes or be seated in their ways. We must come out and be separate in order to prosper in God's miraculous economy. Please Read 2 Cor 6:14 - 18.

Navigating through Life's Storms

 The society that we live in is in a place of difficulty. Many are frustrated with the circumstances that we find ourselves. Some have grown weary and become faint-hearted, thus lacking boldness or courage. All of us have become accustom to everything increasing and multiplying in value. So much so that many people have allowed their possessions to become their identity. However; our identity cannot be based on what we possess; rather it is the fact of remaining the same person even when we are under varying conditions.
Psalms 107:27 speaks of the people being at their wits end. In their trouble the people cried out to the Lord in frustration. He heard them and brought them out of their distress and caused the storm to be still. The hand of the Lord was at work in their favor. In verse 25 it says that the Lord even caused the storm, but in verses 28 -30 He intervened on their behalf when they cried out to Him.
People want to see the true Father. They want to experience real purpose and meaning of life in the midst of their difficult circumstance. When we are in the midst of the storms of life God will come though for us - likely in ways that we are not looking for Him to come through. When we allow God to change us from the inside out and our heart is changed; we will find peace in the midst of the storm. By our response of seeking out the Lord - the world will know that deep within us there is something different. They will recognize it by our position of trust that ultimately produces peace. This will place a desire in their heart to know Christ - thus knowing peace.
Storms in life are certain to occur; therefore, it should not be any surprise that we encounter them. They are as sure to come our way as the breath we just took. Some people seem to live in the midst of a storm, but none of us are exempt from at least passing through them. Storms are not fun and often leave us with damage that we have to deal with. It is important for us to realize though, that the storms of this life bring lessons that we cannot learn apart from them. We must work not to get bitter in the storm but rather rejoice that our Father is allowing us another opportunity to learn. The secret is that we have the ability to navigate through them. We cannot allow fear and insecurity to stop us. Calmly we trust our Heavenly Father, who is always with us in life's storms. Whether we are reacting in faith or fear is determined by the manner in which we respond to them.
Are you going through a storm? Maybe the Lord sent you into this storm so that you will draw closer to Him. Maybe it is just part of this life. Whatever it is, don't give up. If the disciples had given up before they awoke the Master, they might have perished. They certainly would not have had the revelation that Christ was the Master of their surroundings. Just as the power of the Master calmed the storm for the disciples He will also help us deal with the problems we encounter. What is the Lord trying to show you? If you'll trust Him, the fellowship experienced in the midst of this storm may very well be the sweetest fellowship you will experience on this side of eternity.
