Deacon Spotlight
(Every week, for 15 weeks, the Wednesday Northside Notes will spotlight a deacon, along with the deacon's Family Ministry List.)
Ruth Kramedjian joined NDBC in June 2007. This "homecoming" to a church community that expresses its love in so many ways has filled Ruth with great joy. Ordained as a deacon at NDBC, she is in her third year of service on the diaconate. She is a member of the Art & Soul Church School Class and chairs the Adult Education Committee this year. Ruth and her husband, Armand, are in the process of renovating their home, which was flooded by the Chattahoochee River in September 2009. Ruth is an artist with degrees in drawing, painting and art history from UGA. She is an avid gardener and is currently working on a series of handmade books and a new series of collages made with hand painted/dyed papers. Ruth and Armand often hike the nature trails around the city, and they visit with much loved grandchildren in Virginia as often as possible.
