SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE! 2009: Sunday Night LIVE! will now be a monthly Youth event of worship and fun with three other partnering youth groups. Odd numbered months will be worship experiences and even numbered months will be recreational/social events. NDBC BOOK CLUB: A book review of The Shack by William Paul Young, Wednesday, January 14, at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Mary Ann Hickman will be the facilitator and Billie Davis the hostess. Bring your lunch; dessert and beverages will be furnished.

20/30 BIBLE STUDY: THE ORGANIC GOD: The first study for the 20/30 group will be on a book called "The Organic God" meeting every other Friday for six sessions beginning January 16, from 7:00-10:00 PM at the house of Mike and Amanda Gregg.

CHURCH-IN-CONFERENCE: January 21 at 6:45 PM. Supper will precede the conference at 6:00 PM. Please phone reservations to the church office by noon on Friday, January 16.

CHURCH 1:01: A new worship encounter for seekers to find out more about God in an informal atmosphere. Church 1:01 includes captivating devotions, inquisitive dialogue, experiential expressions of faith and friendship through food. Church 1:01 will meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday beginning January 25, 2009, at 1:01pm. Community lunch will begin at 12:45 PM.

SOUPER BOWL SUNDAY: It's that time of year again and this time we are celebrating "Souper Bowl" Sunday on the real date-February 1! After the Morning Worship service, the Fellowship Hall will be filled with a wonderful assortment of soups and chilies. Donations will be taken for the Hunger Fund 2009 through the Missions Committee, which helps to provide food to the community and beyond. NDBC HAS GONE WI-FI! NDBC have gone Wi-Fi in two important areas of the church. We now have wireless internet in the Fellowship Hall and in the new Youth Area. The network is: ndbcwireless. The password is: northsidedrive.

HANDBELLS: Anyone interested in handbells? In January our music director, Paul Fletcher, will be teaching a class for anyone who is interested in learning more about the art of handbell ringing. The class will meet on Sunday evenings at 6:30 beginning on January 11, and will run for six weeks. If you have never rung in a handbell choir but would like to give it a try, this is the class for you. Through the duration of the course you will learn everything that one needs to know to be able to ring successfully.
