Each year the City of Poway celebrates the history and tradition of their community. As a part of this year's celebration, FFCC and the Poway community will host a 200,000 meal food packaging event. These non-perishable meals will provide relief for families in need - here in San Diego and in Tanzania, Africa.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 8th following the Always Positive Poway Day Parade. We will gather at the Poway Wal-Mart (13425 Community Road, Poway 92064) from 11 am to 5 pm. Come for an hour or stay all day! Registration will open for the event on Monday, August 13th. Go to www.ffccsd.org and click on the event link to reserve your place.

WHAT TO BRING?

FFCC will be collecting donations of over-the-counter medications for our medical trip to Haiti in November. You can find a list of suggested medications here or by visiting our website. We also welcome your donations for the purchase of more food. At 25 cents a meal, a donation of $20 will purchase 80 meals!

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!

We've set aside the 2 - 3 pm hour just for you! Get your friends, go to our site to register this coming Monday (8/13), and let's have a pack-off!
