Welcome home Team Tanzania #9! All should have been able to enjoy the comforts of home last night after a quick stop over in London (see pictures), but their ideas about what is most important in life will never be the same. So much has been accomplished - both materially and in the hearts of our team and those who they impacted on their journey!
According to some of the final updates from across the globe...the celebration with the Hadzabe tribe went very well! The connection between Nkungi, FFCC, and the Hadzabe really is growing stronger by the day. There may even be the possibility that a road out to the Hadzabe will be built to make FFCC's travel and ongoing work with the tribe even more efficient.
During the celebration, there was lots of dancing. One of the "coolest" parts was the Hadzabe singers, singing and using the guitar and synthesizer played by the Nkungi choir. When the team handed out food and sodas they could see - not only the need- but the overall appreciation of the people. The medical clinic was completely finished for the ceremony. All it needs now is furnishings and medical supplies.
Thank you to all who have been following this team over the past few weeks! Thank you for your prayers and your support.
Are you ready to join FFCC on one of our next international travel adventures? Join us on August 29th or September 6th to learn more*!
