Tanzania Team #9 is already wrapping up their time in East Africa and preparing for the long trip home.  What a great success both Teams 8 & 9 have had this summer!  Here is the latest update from Tina Socha:

I am sending this update in sections because I am afraid I might delete something.  So tomorrow part of the team will go to Hadzabe to make final preparations for the celebration on Friday. Some will finish making block at the primary school while Phil and I will be working on the water project. Tomorrow night, Phil and I are trying to meet with Omari [headmaster of the Gunda School]  regarding Gunda projects.

I will also be reworking all the suitcases to pack up the food we won't need. Friday is the Hadzabe celebration so we'll be there all day.  Then we leave very early Saturday morning for Manyara for a half day safari, then overnight at the Green House. On Sunday, we'll go to the Crater [Ngorongoro] then to the Meru House for Sunday night. Monday we souvenir shop and then head to Dar. We will stay at the DoubleView again. Then home we come!
