We wish to use this occasion to honor Burton Kaplan, our late Founding Board member and one of our strongest advocates.

We request the honor of your presence to witness the graduation of two NLCP senior classes.

You will see the first graduates from the NLCP-Collins Campus.

  • College enrollment RANKED #1 (2 years in a row) Fall 2010 & 2009 for CPS Charter schools and neighborhood schools
  • College scholarships for the Class of 2011: $6.4 million
  • NLCP seniors: 200 (90% expected to graduate) 
  • NLCP 2011 graduates expected to enroll in college, fall 2011: 90%

Mission Statement
The mission of North Lawndale College Preparatory Charter High School is to prepare young people from under-resourced communities for graduation from high school with the academic skills and personal resilience necessary for successful completion of college.
