The Good and
Bad of Fish Oil
By now, nearly everyone has heard about the tremendous health benefits of consuming fish oil supplements that contain essential fatty acids, such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.  They are considered essential because they are vital for good health but cannot be produced by our bodies.  But a lawsuit filed by environmental groups earlier this month contends that many fish oil supplements made or sold by CVS, GNC, Omega Protein and Rite Aid contain dangerously high levels of PCBs

Greetings,

I got a late start on the newsletter this month, but I am very excited about the promise that is emerging with telomere biology.  We may soon be abe to modulate risk for disease and slow the aging process on a biological level.  Read this exciting article below.

Despite years of research and top-quality science, the world of nutrition is still riddled with flawed thinking. Most people feel that because they eat, they must be experts in nutrition. However, it's not really their fault if their reasoning is wrong. One day you read that eggs give you heart disease, the next day you hear that this was wrong and they're actually good for you. What's a person to believe?

In recognition of March's National Nutrition Month, this article is going to help you weed through and differentiate the nutrition facts from fiction. We'll comb through the top 5 nutrition myths and explain why they deserve busting.
