Greetings!

For several years, WE ACT has worked with Earthjustice and several other environmental advocates to secure chemical policy reform in New York State.

We recently won a great victory when the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation decided to require household cleaning companies to reveal the chemical ingredients in their products and any health risks they pose.

This past Wednesday, October 6, conservative comedian Stephen Colbert commented on this victory during his show. Earthjustice's Kathleen Sutcliffe blogged about Colbert's remarks, and we are pleased to share her thoughts here with you.

Thank you for supporting our work, and have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Team WE ACT

Last night, the mock talk show host aired a segment on Earthjustice's campaign to enforce a 40-year-old New York state law and associated regulations requiring manufacturers of household cleaners to reveal the chemical ingredients in their products and any health risks they pose.
