Michigan Needs More Romney Campaign Material
Ross Abraham, our local coordinator, notes that we need to convince the campaign headquarters in Boston to send Michigan more yard signs and bumper stickers! He notes, "So far, we are doing a good job of showing Boston that Michigan is a state that we can and very much want to win. However, we are in competition with other states for resources. As you likely already know, yard signs and bumper stickers have been scarce, but we have been assured Boston will send us a lot more now that the VP has been selected." Last Monday he launched a signup form on Facebook, which yielded a ton of requests. To keep up the momentum, Ross asks that you please fill out and send the form asking for yard signs. There is a disclaimer on the bottom of the form explaining that people may have to come pick up a yard sign at a victory center and it may be a while. The more people who fill out that webform, the more supplies we will receive from the campaign! |
Volunteers Needed For November
In addition to the information below, from our last issue, there is another place to volunteer to help on Election Day. The Mitt Romney campaign is looking for poll watchers and you can apply at the campaign website. Following is a repeat of the Michigan Republican Party's Election Day Operations (EDO) program from last issue. Our goal is to work hand in hand with County parties, Tea Party groups and other conservatives clubs in order to ensure a fair election process throughout the state. Besides volunteering yourself, please ask friends, family members, and colleagues to be a part of our team on Election Day. Anyone interested in volunteering can e-mail Gary Koutsoubos, EDO Coordinator, Michigan Republican Party. We are planning to begin training attorneys and poll challengers at Victory Centers throughout Michigan beginning in late August. You will need to attend at least one training session before November 6th. We will send out the dates of additional training sessions as they become available, but here is the current list.
