Election Returns Watch Party

The Grand Opening of the Saginaw County Republican 2012 Headquarters will be at 12:00 noon, February 28th! Our new headquarters is in the same building as our old headquarters, 3071 Bay Rd, Saginaw, but is now our front in Suite 300. As this is also the date of Michigan's Presidential Primary, we will also be watching the returns here into the evening. So VOTE, then stop by, bring a snack to share and a beverage, and enjoy some camaraderie with your fellow Republicans!

Michigan Prosperity Forum

Americans for Prosperity - Michigan will hold their Michigan Prosperity Forum on Saturday, February 25th, from 9:00am to 3:30pm. The event will be at the San Marino Club, 1685 E. Big Beaver Road, Troy and will feature Michelle Malkin, Andrew Breitbart, Frank Beckmann, and Ann McElhinney as speakers. In addition, Michelle Malkin and Andrew Breitbart will sign copies of their best-selling books. Llocal, state and national experts will share their experience and knowledge with you. Don't Be Fooled By Budget

 This week the President submitted his proposed budget for fiscal year 2013. While the President claims his budget will reduce spending in the out years (ten years away), it's his usual "spend, spend, spend" blueprint. This budget includes $2 trillion in tax increases - the biggest tax increase in history - and the biggest budget deficit ever proposed in a presidential budget! Similar to his State of the Union address, the president's budget reaffirms his priorities for 2012: higher taxes and more government spending, while adding more debt and deficits for future generations.
