Citizens for Traditional Values To Hold Legislative Briefing
Citizens For Traditional ValuesCitizens for Traditional Values will hold a Legislative Update on Tuesday, February 21st.  This event will help you understand the Michigan courts' importance in 2012, and how to ensure rule of law in Michigan is moving forward.  There are over 600 judges in Michigan, and three of our seven state Supreme Court seats are "up for grabs" in this 2012 election year. As the battles for our freedoms are often decided at the bench, it's a good time to get up to speed on Michigan's Judicial arena.

Speakers include Michigan Supreme Court Justices Stephen Markman and Brian Zahra, and judicial expert Dan Pero of the American Justice Partnership.  The Briefing is from 12:30-5:00
pm at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Lansing.  It is FREE to attend, but an RSVP is required to attend.

Resources To Keep You Informed
Project Vote SmartHere's a couple of websites that show you which of your legislators voted for what.  On Project Vote Smart, you can find for information from the federal level right down to your local township level. Project Vote Smart includes voting records, public statements, and even campaign financing information.  Watching Michigan covers only your Michigan state legislators.  It scores them against issues deemed of importance to tea party members.  Check them both out and stay informed.

The Republican mission seeks to maintain a strong defense, encourage individual achievement and liberty through the free enterprise system, and strengthen families.  If you would like to help us move the area and the country towards these goals, please consider donating to the Saginaw County Republican Committee.  Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help ensure that we can find and elect people to work for those goals.  You can do so by mail to PO BOX 6653, Saginaw, MI  48608 or on the web at www.saginawcountygop.com.
