Tri-City 9-12 Picnic

9-12 Project

The Tri-City 9-12 group will hold its picnic on Sunday, September 11th, from 3:00- 10:00 pm.  This picnic invites folks from ALL patriot groups throughout the area, including Tea Party, We the People and 9-12 group members.. It is being held at the Bay City State Park pavilion #2. Bring a dish to pass: hot dogs will be provided. Bring along your friends and family for an afternoon of good food and great conversation.

Attorney General Bill Schuette

Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette will hold a fundraising Barbeque on Monday, September 12th. The event will be from 5:30-7:30pm at the Midland County Fairgrounds, 6905 Eastman Ave, Midland.  Cost is $50 per family, and there are various sponsorship levels also available.  The barbeque will have plenty of food, including roasted pork, corn-on-the-cob, popcorn, and ice cream.  There will also be music and games for everyone!

Help Representative Paul Scott!

As most of you are aware, State Representative Paul Scott (R-District 51, Grand Blanc) has been targeted for recall and there is a good chance his opponents have succeeded in getting his name on the ballot for the November election. We know that the Democrats, MEA and other Unions will be pouring a ton of outside money into the district to make sure they have the votes to remove the Representative from office.

 

In order to turnout the votes supporting Rep. Scott, the Michigan Republican Party will be re-opening the Genesee County Victory Center in Grand Blanc on September 6th.  The Party is asking for your help to dedicate one day a week to come to the Victory Center make phone calls supporting Rep. Scott through the election.  The Victory Center will be open 7 days a week and they will have multiple shifts so you can have maximum flexibility for your  schedules.

 

To find the Victory Center in Grand Blanc, take I-75 to exit 108 (Holly Road), head northeast on Holly Rd to Saginaw Rd, turn right to the Grand Mall (on your left), and enter the Mall under the striped "Luca's" awning. Restoring Courage Viewing Party in Saginaw
The Saginaw TEA Party will host a Glenn Beck Restoring Courage viewing event on Wednesday, August 24th, in addition to the event previously mentioned in Vassar.  The Saginaw viewing party will be the evening of August 24th, from 6:00-9:00pm at the Americas Best Value Inn, 1408 S. Outer Dr, Saginaw, at the corner of Holland Rd (M-46) and the I-75 interchange. The show is Glenn's "Stand with Israel" event, featuring at The Southern Wall Excavations, and will be free and open to the public.

 

Republican Presidential Debate In Michigan!

Keep this date open!  Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan will host a debate for GOP presidential hopefuls on November 9th from 8:00-10pm.  The debate is sponsored by the Republican National Committee. At this time, about 15 people have announced their candidacy, including Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, John Huntsman Jr., Mitt Romney, Thaddeus McCotter, Rick Perry and Ron Paul. It has not yet been announced which of these, if any, will appear at the debate.  This debate is the only one scheduled so far in Michigan.  You can read more in the Detroit Free Press
