Dear Friends,

What an exciting time to come on board as Chair of the Saginaw County Republican Party!  Michigan turning "Red" put us in play for 2012.

I have been  involved for about 11 years.   Served as Vice-Chair for 6 years.  Also served as election worker, poll watcher and precinct delegate - not to mention phoning, and sign brigades.

The other new officers are: Greg Ostrom - Vice Chair,  Randall Norton - Treasurer, and Catherine Zemanek - Secretary. We have a good executive committee and together, with your help and support ($), we can really gear-up for 2012!!

Local Helping Hands
Rescue Ministries
As part of its ongoing Moved TWO Care initiative, Two Men And A Truck partnered with several other local businesses and organizations during November to collect items for the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan and our troops overseas.  Other organizations that helped in the effort included the Saginaw Spirit, Dow Event Center, WNEM-TV5, and Primary Home Care.

Though the event has ended, you can still donate this season to the Rescue Ministries directly, as they continually distribute aid to community members in need.

Sing Along!
Victoria Jackson
Here's a fun poke at the President, by  comedian and Saturday Night Live alumnus Victoria Jackson.  Not much musical talent to her "song" but she sure makes a convincing case for her premise.  Unfortunately, it appears that a large part of the voting public has no concept of why a Communist Living in the White House is a bad thing.

In recent years, Victoria has Jackson has become politically active, picketing lawmakers and expressing her thoughts on the conservative website Big Hollywood, going to tea parties, town hall meetings and other protests.  And, if you are looking for other Republican-friendly entertainment, don't forget The Dennis Miller Show, broadcast locally on WSGW-790 AM.

The Republican mission seeks to maintain a strong defense, encourage individual achievement and liberty through the free enterprise system, and strengthen families.  If you would like to help us move the area and the country towards these goals, please consider donating to the Saginaw County Republican Committee.  Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help ensure that we can find and elect people to work for those goals.  You can do so by mail to PO BOX 6653, Saginaw, MI  48608 or on the web at www.saginawcountygop.com.

Sincerely,
Helene Wiltse, Chair, Saginaw County Republican Party
