Dear Friends,

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE in the November general election.  If you recently moved or never voted before, remember that you must be registered to vote.  You may register by visiting your city or township clerk's office, or by this link to the Michigan Secretary of State office.
Under Michigan law, residents must be registered 30 days in advance of an election in order to vote. Teenagers who are not yet old enough to vote but who will turn 18 on or before Election Day may still register.  Not sure whether you are already registered? Not sure where to vote? Check here  to find out.
For the Tueday, November 2, 2010 General Election, polls are open  from 7:00am to 8:00pm.  VOTE!

Meet Sarge Harvey
A MEET THE CANDIDATE event for Sarge Harvey,  the GOP candidate for the 95th House Seat, will be held on Monday, October 11th from 5:30- 7:00pm at Jakes Old Town Grill. Jakes is located at 100 S. Hamilton St., Saginaw, near the courthouse.  This is a casual setting in order for you to get to know Sarge.  Donations of course are always welcome but don't let that stop you!  Jimmy Greene and Dick Garber are hosting this event.

If you live in the City of Saginaw or Buena Vista Township and have been yearning for a change from Democrat representation, this is going to be your Scott Brown moment!

10-10-10 Rally
In support of the US Constitution's 10th  Amendment, a Michigan Sovereignty TEA  Party will be held at the Capitol in Lansing  on Sunday October 10.  The rally will run  from 1:00-3:00pm in front of the Michigan  State Capitol, 100 N. Capitol, Lansing.

Wear your candidates T-shirts:  show support for them at this rally.  Network with and extend your relationships.  This is expected to be the last rally for freedom before the November election.  And, there will be a Sign Contest.  The top 3 Creative and Artistic Signs will receive a Prize!!

Speakers include:
Mark Lerner, co-founder of two national organizations, the Constitutional Alliance and Stop Real ID Coalition,
Representative Paul Opsommer, who has been on the forefront in Michigan introducing sovereignty legislation including HJR YY, HB6414,
Bill Schuette, GOP candidate for Attorney General and former Congressman, Director of Michigan Department of Agriculture, Michigan State Senator and Michigan Appeals Court Judge,
Ruth Johnson, GOP candidate for Secretary of State, former Michigan House Representative, current Clerk and Register of Deeds for Oakland County. Ruth's investigation helped to expose the "fake" Tea Party and keep them off the November general election ballot.

The 10th Amendment retains Michigan sovereignty rights against the Federal government's overreach.  Come on out and show your support for those who will work to exercise state jurisdiction and reduce the loss of rights of Michigan's citizens!  If you can help with this TEA Party, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Alexis Millisor.

There will even be concessions by Clint's Hot Dogs, with All-American Food and Drink!
