Dear Friends,
A regular meeting of the Executive Committee of the Saginaw County
Republican Committee is scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, 2010, and
will be held at 7:00pm, at the Saginaw Township Fire Station #3, 155 N.
Center Rd (near Gratiot Rd).
We will be nominating people to fill two vacant seats on the
Executive Committee. Also, this will be one of only 2 meetings before
the November election, so we will be looking for people to volunteer
time at an election headquarters.

Learn About The Constitution
| The National Center for Constitutional Studies and The Tri-City 912 Group proudly present a seminar on the history of America's Constitution, "The Making of America Part 2." This expanded story of our Nation's founding will be a brief review of the Founders: Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Washington and others, in order to rediscover the key to the creation of the first free nation in modern times. The seminar covers history through 1787, and it is not necessary to have attended the first seminar to attend Part 2. It also includes an in-depth study of Constitutional provisions and the amendments themselves as well as some of the landmark decisions that have led us away from their original intent. The cost is $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door , and includes lunch and a workbook. It will be held on Saturday, September 25th, from 8:30am until 4:30pm at the banquet room above the Lumber Barons/Barts Restaurant, located at 804 E. Midland St in Bay City, Michigan. Door prizes and giveaways will be distributed to participants. To register, visit The Tri-City 912 Group website, click on event and register. You may also call Event Coordinators Sandy Johnson at 989-684-3278 or Bob Rankey at 989 684-2327. Enjoy the day in the company of others concerned about the abuse of our Constitution and learn, perhaps for the first time, how nearly every problem in
America today can be solved by restoring these successful concepts. |
