Coddling Evil
As if the news that the Obama administration was making H1N1 vaccinations available to Gitmo prisoners before most of us in this country get ours wasn't shameful enough, now comes the real clincher. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the admitted mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, will be permitted to stand trial in New York City in a civil court. This decision by the U.S. Justice Department, under the auspices of President Barack Hussein Obama, is not only unconscionable but a direct affront to those that perished in the attacks, their families, and to their memories.

While many of us have been appalled at the speed and magnitude with which this president continues to try and remake this country into something that more aptly fits his own warped sense of ideology, this latest stunt wins first prize, hands down. President Obama and the rest of the blame-it-on-America crowd will get their opportunity to put Uncle Sam on trial for the exploitation, degradation, and humiliation of the Muslim empire and all people of color. They will put before the world court, George W. Bush, for the unlawful invasion and summary destruction of an innocent and valuable member of the international community, as prosecuted by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, al Quaeda, and ably assisted by the U.S. Justice Department. God help us.

The Constitution's Second Amendment
Vintage FlagsGreg Ostrom notes that Deer Hunting season has started, which means the woods are now filled with Michigan's 700,000 deer hunters, all of whom are having a great time enjoying nature and exercising their Second Amendment right to own a firearm.

Republicans are generally considered to be "Pro-Gun."   This means for the most part, Republicans tend to support the Second Amendment and the right to protect themselves and their family.

For those interested in learning more about Second Amendment issues, the NRA publishes a monthly magazine called First Freedom.  It's probably the best magazine in the country reporting on these issues and it is free to all NRA members.  This magazine usually prints gun control and Second Amendment news and facts several months before the mainstream media will.  You can find more information at the NRA's website at www.NRA.org.

If you are interested in reading a well-researched summary of most gun control and Second Amendment issues, the website Gun Facts at www.gunfacts.info has a 104 page booklet called Gun Facts that can be read on-line or downloaded in pdf format.  The sole purpose of this booklet is to debunk and dispel gun control "myths" with real facts.  I encourage all gun owners and supporters of the Second Amendment to take a look at this e-book.  You will be impressed.
