Linemen
Pinetops facility weathers Hurricane Irene

Hurricane Irene's winds and rains remained over the Pinetops area for 24 hours, leaving behind a multitude of toppled trees and downed power lines. The plant was without electricity for about 48 hours, but line crews from the Town of Pinetops, Wilson (NC) Energy, Thomasville (GA) Utilities, and Rock Hill (SC) Utilities worked diligently to restore the power in a very timely manner. Thanks to them, the plant was quickly back up and running and able to respond to customer orders. A big thank you to those linemen for your hard work and dedication!
