In today's world everything moves so quickly. Companies don't always have the time to wait for hard copy documents to be mailed or delivered to them. Imaging of company documents make them easily accessible and provides a more secure environment. This process allows access to documents when you need them regardless of what time it is, and in some applications where you are.

There are two prominent methods of imaging documents. The first type is a manual process where fields are manually indexed with assigning data fields to insure accuracy. The second type is an automated or OCR (Optical Character Reader) which provides criteria for the system to "search" and locate key words to populate data fields. The automated or OCR process will generally require a percentage of documents to be manually indexed when required fields cannot be located systematically.
