The vast majority of us spend most of the day working with computers and automated systems. It's faster, easier, and more cost effective than having shelves covered with boxes and filled with papers. We all remember balancing our check books the old fashioned way. The bank would send us a statement with a handful of checks bundled neatly inside. There aren't many banks that still do this. Now our checks are scanned and our accounts are available on-line. All we have to do is log on, day or night. We can check our account, transfer money, or even pay our bills. Now, if only everything were that simple.
