 | Nate and Brennan in Porto Alegre at a church
started by seminary students at Seminario Concordia |
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Recently, three young men went on a mission trip to Holy Trinity Insitute in Moreira, Brazil. While there, they had the opportunity to also visit some of the local churches in Porto Alegre that were started by students at Seminario Concordia.
The also visited some addiction recovery institutions and were able to pray with some of the indivduals there at the institute.
During their stay at Holy Trinity Institute in Moreira, Brazil they worked on sanding and re-finishing doors and support beams. But their best memories will be that of spending time with the children, hanging out and showering them with love and attention.
"It was really cool to see how God gave us so many chances to just hang out and give the kids attention in so many ways. We played soccer, taught them how to whistle loud, and played lots of 'Thumb Wars!' While we worked, the younger children would come around and sometimes they would help, and we would just enjoy each other's company. We were able to finish most of the doors and wooden supports, but there is still much more to be done."
 Learning to Whistle really loud!
Please keep this ongoing Mission Opportunity to Holy Trinity Institute in your prayers. If you want more information on how your congregation can partner with BMS, or participate in future mission trips, please contact us at the information in this newsletter!
