Christmas Morning at the Orphanage!

This month we are sharing a note with you that  we received from Carina Tealmo at Holy Trinity Institute (the Orphanage supported by the Brazil Mission Society.)  
 

 

"Dear Friends,

Indeed we were surprised with so many donations and Christmas gifts for the children!  God is really good to us here, and we are very thankful for all the people whose hearts were touched to provide for those who need it!

Christmas is always a very difficult date to deal with when you are young and without a blood family who really cares about you.  One might think that our children feel sad and depressed, but they are not!  It is God's miracle!

God is the One Who gives them strength to cope with their personal struggles during the holiday season, and shows them how much they are loved.  He does this through the love and attention of each Godparent to his/her Godchild. 

The children receive not only the sponsor's gifts, but their love and attention, as if they were part of their families.  So, the Godparents are also responsible for making of this period of the year one of the most fun and most expected by the children!

I personally just feel blessed to see this miracle happening every Christmas!  Thank you!
