Dear Friends and Supporters,
Volunteers from Colorado!
This month's newsletter about the Orphanage in Moreira, Brazil highlights another awesome story of love and service, and how a few people can make a huge difference in the lives of these children thousands of miles away!
Pastor Terry Beltz, his wife, Pamela and their two daughters, Kathe and Emily are from Trinity Lutheran Church, Franktown, Colorado. They are spending part of their summer at the Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage in Moreira, Brazil.
This trip is part of Pastor Beltz's Sabbatical Year. The family has volunteered their time in many wonderful ways to the Orphanage since they arrived. They have created friendship bracelets for every senior and child of the school and home. They provided new supplies for the teachers for crafts, to make bulletin boards, as well as lots of plain paper which is always greatly needed.
Kathe and
Emily have to return to the states soon, but Pastor and Pamela intend
to stay for 40 days. Pastor Terry is focusing on renovating and painting the windows and installing new curtains. He also helps Pamela teach the children. They are giving one-on-one English lessons to about thirty children!
Thank you Pastor Beltz, Pamela, Kathe & Emily for giving yourselves, your time, and your servant hearts to touch the lives of God's precious children far away!
We
want all of you to know how much your monthly prayers and financial support for the children at Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage helps
in ways that truly make a difference for them. They are able to hear all
about this big God who loves them and cares for them. Your caring love and support for your
Godchild is greatly appreciated as well as any additional financial support for other
needs at the Orphanage.
Bencaos de Deus, (Blessings of God) Bill
