Dear Friends and Supporters,
"A Shiny, New, Red Tractor!"
This month's newsletter about the Orphanage in Moreira, Brazil highlights another incredible story of compassion and generosity, and how a few people can make a huge difference in the lives of these children thousands of miles away!
Reverend Steve Kline and his wife Debbie traveled to Brazil with his pastoral colleague group from the Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI) to experience the mission work being done by the Lutheran Church in Brazil (IELB).
One of the mission sites that touched their hearts was the Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage. They were so moved by the children and the love that is shown to them, but they also saw many other needs that they still have. They witnessed how the children at the orphanage participate in the farming, planting, and gardening which provides food for the orphanage. When the Kline's returned home they shared their experiences from the trip to Brazil with their congregation - Zion Lutheran Church of Wayside, Greenleaf, Wisconsin. Pastor Kline initiated a Tractor Fund for the orphanage, and the congregation generously responded! As you can see in the photos, the orphanage now has a shiny, new red tractor to help them on the farm!
Thank you Pastor Kline and Debbie,
for seeing a need, and sharing it with others!
And a huge "Thank you" to Zion Lutheran Church for hearing about the need, and giving generously to help people far away!
We
want all our supporters to know how much your monthly prayers and financial support for the children at Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage helps
in ways that truly make a difference for them. They are able to hear all
about this big God who loves them and cares for them. Your caring love and support for your
Godchild is greatly appreciated as well as any additional financial support for other
needs at the Orphanage.
Bencaos de Deus, (Blessings of God) Bill
