God's Richest Blessings to You in 2009!
Pat and I are in Brazil for the month of January. While you are keeping warm in the states, it is summer time here! I am teaching a graduate course in Preaching at Concordia Seminario, the seminary at Sao Leopoldo.
This visit has provided opportunites to visit many of the mission sites supported by Brazil Mission Society. It is always such a blessing to see the way God works through BMS with my own eyes.
I will be meeting with Pastor Mario Lehenbauer, the Mission Executive of IELB (Lutheran church of Brazil). We will be discussing plans and dates for our joint work in 2009. As of this date, two or three groups will be coming to Brazil for mission experiences.
2009 will be a challenging year due to the world economy. Please keep Brazil Mission Society in your prayers so God's work in His Kingdom can continue.
