Dear Mission Supporter,
I love this time of year! I especially enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving and appreciate that our country sets aside a day to give thanks to God for all our blessings.
This issue will focus on our mission effort this Thanksgiving - the Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage in Moreiera, Brazil. When Pat and I visited the Orphanage this year, we were reminded of this wonderful place and the amazing things the leaders of this home accomplish with such limited resources.
As you pause this Thanksgiving to celebrate how God has blessed you, we are asking you and your congregation to consider making a donation to the Orphanage in thanksgiving to God.
Please take a moment to pray for the children and workers who live in this wonderful home!

Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage Moriera, Brazil |
Since 1946 this Orphanage has been an oasis of hope for children in Brazil who have no other place to go. Over 3500 children have gone through this orphanage, and each one has a story to tell of abandonment, neglect, abuse and need. But their stories don't end that way. The Orphanage gives the residents new life in a warm, caring atmosphere. They receive love, food, shelter, clothing and schooling all in the name of Jesus Christ! Our Home |
The Holy Trinity Institute Orphange is home for these four sisters. Your love blesses these children with the care, warmth and acceptance that would otherwise be missed. Your financial support provides things they need, like food, clothing, medicine, cleaning supplies, toys, and even Bibles!

Our School |
The Holy Trinity Institute has a school that serves the children of the orphanage as well as about sixty additional children from the local community. They need donations to purchase books, crayons, paper, pencils, rulers, musical instruments and uniforms. Even a "little" donation can make a "big difference every day to these children by supplying them with something as small as a pencil!

Our Farm |
 The Farm at the Holy Trinity Institute Orphanage not only produces food to feed the children and livestock, but also provides valuable occupational training. There are cows, chickens, pigs, a greenhouse, vegetable gardens, orchards and fields of crops.
Right now, due to drought conditions, the Orphanage faces a serious shortage of over $1500 per month to buy feed for the animals. That is money that they simply do not have. The farm also needs new stalls, seeds for crops, and fencing repairs.
