Fashion Design Alumna to Appear on TV Show
PhilaU Fashion Design alumna Christi Jefferson '10 will appear on the reality TV show "24 Hour Catwalk" on Lifetime this Thursday, Jan. 26 at 10 p.m. The show challenges contestants to create their own line of clothing within 24 hours to show to a panel of celebrity judges from the fashion industry. Magee Named a "Living Legend" and Honored with Bust Unveiling
Coach Herb Magee '63, H'09 will be honored at the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association's 108th Annual Dinner on Monday, Jan. 30 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, N.J. The dinner is open to the public. Come out and cheer on Coach Magee!
Also, join us for a bust unveiling and celebration in honor of Hall of Famer Coach Magee on Thursday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallagher Center at Philadelphia University.

Design X 'Unleashed' Showcased the Best in Fashion Design Imagination
With the theme "Unleashed" for Design X 2012, Philadelphia University fashion designers displayed limitless creativity in garments designed using non-traditional materials like chicken wire. Each year, the best out-of-the-box designs are featured in a runway show produced by students in the Fashion Industries Association.
This year's runway show was held on Jan. 24 and included 34 designs from 14 designers. For more information about the show, click here.

Philadelphia University will celebrate Black History Month with a series of events throughout February with the theme "Black Women in American History and Culture." Coordinated through the Office of Student Development Programs, in association with student organizations and academic programs, events will include on-campus film screenings, performances and speakers.
