Plan in Action: PhilaU Students partner with Propper Brothers on a DEC Project
Achieving innovation through collaboration between Design, Engineering and Commerce (DEC) is one of seven strategic initiatives guiding the University's implementation of the strategic plan.
This fall, Prof. Mike Leonard's industrial design students and Prof. Steven Frumkin's business students, along with faculty and students in various programs, have teamed up with Propper Brothers furniture store in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia on a furniture project.
Alumni are invited to see the results of the collaboration at the gallery opening during Manayunk's Second Saturday on Nov. 14.

Alumni writers of fiction, poetry, memoir, creative non-fiction and drama/monologue are invited to join faculty/staff writers for a Writers' Roundtable - a reading and discussion event for the entire University community.
