Koch Filter is pleased to bring to you the "Rostrum," appearing in the January 2010 issue of The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Volume 125, which reported that home environmental intervention strategies, such as proper air filtration, are effective in reducing disease.  It determined that clinicians often ignore airborne particulate matter, other than airborne allergens, which might play a significant role in human respiratory disease.

The principal role of air cleaning and filtration in the living
environment for those with allergic respiratory diseases might relate more toward the reduction of disease progression rather than a "treatment." There is sufficient evidence that air filtration does reduce indoor levels of ambient particulates that might trigger disease processes themselves.
