Greetings!
We're well into the throes of the fourth quarter with just 9 weeks left of 2011. And with the holidays fast approaching, I'm thinking, "YIKES"... it's almost 2012. I know we're all busy so I'll be brief. Promise! This year has been "fab-tastic". I'm fresh off another Working Pro voiceover class at LA's Kalmenson & Kalmenson . (highly recommended) It's funny how many more bookings and new clients appear after continuing the study of the voice over craft. Recent national and international commercial gigs include Disney, Citgo, Cricket Wireless, Nivea, and webcast and non-broadcast projects for Adobe, Goodrich and Kellogg's. I've always wanted to be a Disney character and part of the Star Wars franchise... and both wishes finally happened at once. Now playing: Check out Disney's Star Tours television spot below- Mine is the voice of the ship's flight attendant during the second half of the spot. Speaking of Disney characters...not really but kind of, I've just completed recording the audiobook and original version of the novel, "Peter Pan", by James Matthew Barrie. I made a point to not listen to the Disney version. This new audiobook will be released for download soon at audible.com. This is truly a tale for all ages. The nearly 5 1/2 hour recording reveals many truths about life, youth, and unbridled joy. ps...(I had a ball being the characters!) Here's what the cover art looks like.
Have a wonderful Fall Season and I hope we'll talk soon . Hope you'll watch my "Star Tours" spot below. Very fun! |
