All you have to do is refer one or more vendors to attend the BOOST Conference April 25-28, 2012 in Palm Springs. If they register for a booth on or before January 27th and list you as a referral, you will be entered to win free BOOST Conference registration!

Did you know that you can earn 9 transferable upper division units through the University of California, Irvine (UCI) by attending 6 BOOST Conference workshop sessions and completing follow-up course work.

If you are interested in participating in this program, you will need to register and attend the mandatory orientation on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 7:45am-8:15am.

Dr. Milton Chen is senior fellow and executive director, emeritus at The George Lucas Educational Foundation (GLEF), a non-profit operating foundation in the San Francisco Bay Area that utilizes its multimedia website Edutopia.org and documentary films to communicate a new vision for 21st Century schools. He served as executive director of GLEF for 12 years. During his tenure, GLEF and its media brand, Edutopia, greatly expanded their editorial publishing efforts, including the award-winning Edutopia magazine. Edutopia.org is known as a destination Web site for educators and others interested in educational innovation and has won numerous honors, including the 2009 Webby People's Voice Award for best education website.

After School University will be presenting a series of workshops at BOOST to highlight Best Practices in high school after school programming. Come hear from a practitioner-based professional development team as they demonstrate how the integration of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), Project-Based Learning and Social Media Safety and Privacy can strengthen program quality while authentically delivering programs that teens want and need.

The BOOST Student Hall of Fame features student artwork from all over the country for our global attendees to view while at the BOOST Conference.

We would love to highlight the amazing work of your students this April at the BOOST Conference.

2012 Theme: Peace & Love

Submission Guidelines:

- Artwork should be mounted on poster board (22 inches x 28 inches).

- All artwork must have the name and grade of each student worked in the creation of the piece as well as the name of the program, city, and state in the lower right hand corner.
