Grant Writing 101
Monday, July 12, 2010 9:00am-9:30am- Sign In & Networking 9:30am-12:30pm- Training Location: KIT's National Training Center on Inclusion 2820 Roosevelt Road, Ste. 201 San Diego, CA 92106 The goal of this workshop is to clearly and simply describe the processes involved in writing a successful grant. This presentation is designed for those who have little or no grant writing experience. The discussion will focus on the steps that are necessary for any funding request: identifying need, clarifying agency/project mission and goals, building partnerships, documenting success. An overview of a typical grant will be provided along with suggestions for successful proposal writing.
