President's Message
Happy Spring Chamber members! It's a whirlwind time of year with buds and flowers popping out all over and a long list of activities and fundraisers to attend. I look forward to seeing many of you at the Chamber Women Helping Women Runway Event on April 5th; the Chamber Annual Meeting Luncheon (and the announcement of the new Citizen of the Year) at A Tavola on April 11th; the Matt Tavares & Arthur Griffin -Ted Williams Exhibition at the Griffin Museum opening April 12th; the Winchester Community Service Foundation Fundraiser Lecture with Madeline Albright on April 27th at Town Hall, etc. This list is by no means complete but a sampling of the wide range of offerings regularly happening in our vibrant community. And please keep the ideas and suggestions coming for new and/or improved activities with Chamber members. I just heard from Gloria Legvold of the Winchester Multicultural Network about an event with Communities for Restorative Just (C4RJ) coming to Concord that might translate very well to our own large number of Non-Profit Organizations. Eric Keough of Kids Footstop invites us to find ways to support the Winchester Soccer Club in their plan to develop a Community Park off Cross Street.

Executive Director's message
The Winchester Chamber of Commerce is once again going over the nominations for the prestigious Citizen of the Year Award
We are a community that has a wealth of talent with people who, on a daily basis, volunteer to help make Winchester a better place to live and do business. Many of these people donate hundreds of hours to serve on boards, committees or are just there to help with the many tasks that are needed to run an organization.
The 33rd recipient of this award will be announced on April 11th at the luncheon meeting held at A Tavola's. Come and meet the board of directors and the town manager who will address the group.Space is very limited so please make your reservations now.
There will be a gala event celebrating the winner at the Burlington Marriott on May 23.
Cathy Alexander
Executive Director, Winchester Chamber of Commerce
