President's Message With Halloween upon us and the leaves coming down, the fall/winter season is in full swing. Planning for Midnight Madness, our special shopping night the Monday after Thanksgiving, is well under way. Incoming Chamber president Judy Manzo is spearheading the effort, bringing member and non-member businesses together for coordinated publicity and advertising. The Chamber office and staff will serve as the central clearing house for these efforts. The zoning sub-committee, established last spring, has begun work. We will be reviewing issues and Town Meeting Warrant Articles related to zoning. Our goals are strengthening our downtown and make all of Winchester more business-friendly. If you are interested in contributing to this process, please contact me at cmulhern@hmarchitects.com . I look forward to seeing you at the November 3 Board meeting; 8 to 9 AM at the Chamber offices. Heaps of Hopes - a non-profit organization who assist local women with cancer by subsidizing medical and prescription co-payments, providing transportation to/from  chemotherapy and radiation, providing grocery gift cards, and most of all support. The organization helps women who are financially struggling to make ends meet
Friday, November 12, 2010 Sells & Co. will be donating 25% of their sales to Heaps of Hope. You can also purchase tickets to attend the annual fundraiser Friday, November 12, 2010 at Tanner Tavern in Woburn. Tickets are $50.00 per person - includes DJ, Cash Bar, Raffle and Hors d'oeuvres.
