To Jay Gill and the crew at the Winchester
DPW for keeping the hanging baskets looking
great all summer - the baskets are a Chamber/Garden Club project which add great value to our downtown. They would not be possible without the daily watering provided by DPW.
To Allan Eydan and his helpers for organizing and managing the Townwide Yard Sale last month. Booth sales were a bit lower than prior years, but the weather was perfect, the event was well attended and sales were brisk.
To Kim Miles and Dot Butler for putting together another in a long string of successful Women Helping Women events, this one featuring some of our newer downtown merchants.
To Glen Doyle, Cindy Hale and her staff for their efforts in updating the database used on our website.
To Judy Manzo for chairing the organizational meeting for Midnight Madness. Planning is well under way for this downtown event which will be held the Monday after Thanksgiving.
