President's Message
Summer is finally here and so is the good weather. We can look back on a long tough winter and look forward to a brighter few months ahead. Following a successful Citizen of the Year Banquet
Chris Mullen
where over 300 celebrated the Fells Hardware family receiving their well deserved award - we now have Town Day! Volunteers are needed to assist at the always busy Chamber Barbecue stand - so if you can spare an hour or two on Saturday June 5, please let us know at 781-729-8870.

Citizen of the Year 2010

Kevin Bruce

Kevin Ryan holds up a photo of his brother Bruce during his acceptance speech at the Citizen of the Year Banquet held recently at the Woburn Hilton Hotel. Bruce and  Mr Ryan Sr were unable to attend the event but Kevin made sure that the Citizen of the Year Award was a real family affair.

A Tribute to Salter Healthcare-one of the most generous businesses in Winchester

On behalf of the board of directors of the Winchester Chamber of Commerce, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Richard and Robert Salter who once again have generously contributed the food, drinks and grills for our Town Day Barbecue- a huge donation that helps keep the Chamber doors open throughout the year.

To Scott, head of food services at Aberjona, a special thankyou for all your hard work and time spent on a Saturday in June.  We look forward each year to providing the hamburgers and hot dogs to all the visitors on Winchester Common - please stop by and have your lunch, support the Chamber and thank the Salter family who regularly support so many of the events in our community

Chamber notes: On May 12, the Winchester Chamber of Commerce presented the town with a magnificent plaque listing all of the recipients of the Citizen of the Year since it's inception 31 years ago.  This was carved and designed by Mark Gaffney and will be permanently displayed in the lobby of Winchester Town Hall across from the Town Clerk's office.
