Dear Praying Friend,
All across the nation yesterday it rained as people persevered at the polls, anxiously awaiting their opportunity to cast their vote for the leader who would bring about the change they desired for this country. Rain is a symbol of God's great provision, and every droplet, tapping on our head, should be a constant reminder to keep looking up even when the pudddles are starting to rise around feet.
Today, I'm simply celebrating the steadfast and unchangeable nature of my God and trusting that His plans will prevail as He has purposed them.
Over a year ago the Lord revealed through His Word, "Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings" (Isaiah 58:12); however, He also said it would be "rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble" (Daniel 9:25b, emphasis added). We have begun to realize that we are more apt to seek our Lord in times of distress and trial than at any other time. The response to prayer and fasting this past year has flooded heaven with the tears of the saints and moved the heart, and hand, of God to respond to His faithful ones. Our prayers for restoration and revival are being answered even as we wonder at the challenges that lie ahead.
This past year the Lord has purposely stirred the heart of His elect to seek Him and prayer and fasting, not just for this election, but, also, in preparation for His return. We have not labored in vain, rather, we have sown seeds for the future harvest that He is now watering. There is much work still to be done; we must remain vigilant as we passionately pursue Him and allow Him to prepare us adequately for the task ahead.
Some believers may be looking toward the future with apprehension, let us, instead, set aside our natural fears, and look with fear upon the Lord. We can take note from the Israelites when Moses led them out of Egypt: Their eyes were on the promise before them and the enemy was behind them; God had prepared their path and He was leading them out with His Light (reference Exodus 14).
The path in front of us was laid before the foundation of the world -the Lord is simply asking us to trust Him to raise up the age-old foundation so we can boldly proclaim His Truth to a world flooded in sin. Let us, therefore, look to the Light that has been placed inside us, boldly step into the waters rising around us, and faithfully put our hands to the work of building up the Highway in preparation for our Lord's return.
For the next 77 days may we resolve to remain faithful in prayer, diligent in the Word, humble in our response, and bold in our witness allowing the Lord to "astound us with wonder upon wonder"

Today begin by meditating on Psalm 77.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your unfailing love and we ask for forgiveness for those times that we fail You. Revive our hearts to remain steadfast in pursuit of Your Truth; restore us once again to the joy of your salvation. May we be Your portion as You have been ours. We praise You for Your hand of favor and we request Your hand of mercy. Give us a discerning heart as we go forward in faith. Strengthen us, help us, and uphold us with Your righteous right hand. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen.
Blessings to the faithful.
Remaining at His feet,
