Here Comes Santa Claus!
Ready or not, the holidays are here. Make this a Thanksgiving to remember when you bring your family to Red River! Our Thanksgiving celebration kicks off at noon at the Red River Ski Area with the frozen turkey race. Children of all ages are invited to race down the Baby Blue Hill on a frozen turkey, providing endless laughs and great photo opportunities.

No Thanksgiving is complete without a traditional turkey dinner. Plenty of Red River restaurants are open on Thanksgiving and would love to have you and your family join them for a delicious holiday meal. Find out more here.
After you have spent a wonderful day on the slopes and have stuffed yourself full of turkey, join us in Brandenburg Park for Switch on the Holidays, Red River's annual tree-lighting and celebration. We sing a few carols with resident songbird Mandy Buchanan and our Dickens' Carolers, then move into the Red River Conference Center for complimentary cookies, cocoa, and cider. The Community House staff will also be there this year with their signature s'mores, and we'll once again host our special guests Santa and Mrs. Claus. This must-do family event starts at 7pm.

Participating businesses will roll out the red carpet from 3pm - 7pm with special offers, refreshments, discounts, and more. Get your loved ones a special and unique Christmas gift that can only be found in Red River!
Saturday evening brings fun for all ages with the kickoff of our weekly Rail Jam, Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Display at 7pm at the Red River Ski Area (base of the Platinum Chair Lift) and live music all over town. Find out who is playing here.
